Recipe for spicy spaghetti with prawns, cherry tomatoes and whiskey

As I have commented on other occasions, I try new pasta recipes every time to get out of the routine of more traditional dishes. On this occasion I have prepared some rich Spicy spaghetti with prawns, cherry tomatoes and whiskey We liked them a lot at home.

It is not for, less, seafood and pasta have always married well, so this time and taking advantage of some prawns that I saw in the market at a good price, I started with them. You can prepare as I have done, a delicious first course as well as a delicious way to have some prawns.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti 400 g
  • Extra virgin olive oil, 3 tablespoons
  • Prawns 200 g
  • Garlic clove 2
  • Cayenne 1
  • Cherry tomato 200 g
  • Whiskey, 2 tablespoons
  • Liquid cream for cooking 140 ml
  • 1 lemon juice
  • Parmesan cheese 30 g
  • Salt and pepper to taste

We will start by heating the olive oil in a pan or pan, once hot we add the peeled prawns, the chopped garlic clove, the cayenne, the lemon zest and the cherry tomatoes, and let's skip all about two minutes.

We carefully add the whiskey and let it evaporate a few seconds. Add the cream, stir and we cook everything together two more minutes, separating from the fire. We salt and pepper the lemon juice on top.

While we are finishing the sauce we put a pot with plenty of water and salt to heat, we cook the pasta the time you indicate in the package, drain it and mix it quickly with the sauce. We serve hot with Parmesan on top.
